Week08 1st entry

Hye

"Random Word/Image Association".. That is the topic for this week lecture session. From the class, i figured out that there is a thousand ways to come out with a new ideas. All that we as a student has to do is to provoke reaction from our brain. By then, we can come out with a lots of new cool ideas or stuff. One of the simplest method is, we try to brainstorm all the particular details that was related to the subject given. Once everything had been done, it was easier for us to chose which one is the best ideas and eliminate others that are not interesting.

In the class, as usual, students were ask to do some exercise. and one of the exercise was trying to come out with new ideas how to represent "no" with the subject of a "cat". I try to brainstorm everything that i could into a piece of paper. from there, i found that the teeth of a cat can represents "no". This is because their teeth were sharp. so i try to illustrate the cat with a fear characteristics as much as i could. below are the final outcome that i can came out with :

Week07 2nd entry

for the second entry for this week, i had been asked by my lecture to come out with a juxtaposition according to the exercise that had been done in the class. below are the details abut the exercise that i've done in the class.

Week07 1st entry

for this week lecture, it is still about juxtaposition. basically the lecture about this week are about the rules of juxtaposition. in the lecture, i found out that there are 2 important rules that need to be apply in using juxtaposition. the rules are easy to be understood by others & ensure that it is clear. this two rules are important because it will ensure that our juxtaposition can be accept by others just imagine what others would think if we come out with a juxtaposition by not applying these 2 rules. it will of cause gonna be a weird juxtaposition that someone's can came out with.

Week05 2nd entry

for the second entry for this week. in the class, i've been ask to come out with a mind map about mortar & pestle. basically, i have to come out with a few ideas what are mortar & pestle can be use as in the future. so below are the mind map that showing my ideas. this is what i can think of about mortar & pestle in the future..

Week05 1st entry

For this week, the lecture continues about mind map. but this time difference approach had been used for the lecture session. what can i get from the lecture is that there are a thousand ways in order to come out with a good mind mapping. for instance we can do a mind mapping about everything. i realize that i had to put on a little bit more of concentrations in order to come out with a good mind map. it just take someones to be a bit more creative to produce a good mind map. other than that, we have to believe in ourself that we can produce a good mind map. we just have to keep on working on our mind map until we are satisfy with our mind map that we are capable to come out with.

Week06 2nd entry

By juxtaposing a mailman sorting mail as he energetically strides to his next destination, with a stereotypical cartoon on the wall of a Mexican restaurant, I contrast the presence of hard work to a restaurant sign that speaks of “no work”. While we were surprised to find such ethnic stereotyping in Tucson, which is one-third Hispanic, perhaps political correctness has yet to take effect this close to the Mexican border. Or maybe the cartoon on the wall of this 76 year old landmark restaurant has been there so long that it is now just seen as part of the urban landscape. this is what i think can reflex juxtaposition from what i've learned in class.
